URL Providers

An URL Provider is an add-in which generates URLs for content under a page. Currently only one URL provider is delivered by us; the Ecommerce URL provider. URL providers are activated and configured using the page settings of the page under which you want to generate URLs.

Ecommerce provider

The Ecommerce URL provider makes it possible to generate URLs for Ecommerce-content under a page. Ecommerce URL provider To configure this provider use the following settings:

  • Shop - select Current website shop or select a specific shop
  • Language - select Current website language or select a specific language
  • Include - choose which types of content to include:
    • Groups
    • Groups, products
    • Groups, products, variants
  • Groups - choose between Tree path and Root path
  • Products - choose between Tree path and Root path

Root path generates an URL at the root level, e.g. /Accessories Tree path generates an URL with the group structure included, e.g. /Accessories/Bags/Cool-Bag

Once saved, the URL index is updated with the chosen configuration options for the included content. Too see the current URL index for a page add ?showurlindex=true to the URL.
