Order line fields

Creating custom order line information fields

Order line fields are custom fields for extending the standard set of order line fields, e.g. to add a length field to order lines when the product is a member of specific product groups. The typical use case is for shops selling fabric in inches or meters, but it may be useful in other scenarios as well. To create an order line field:

• Click New field
• Enter a name and a system name
• Specify a maximum character field length
• Save
