General

The General node contains advanced settings related to default product index, the product selector search and how completeness should behave. Advanced General

The Indexes section has the following settings:

  • Default index - enables you to choose a default index for products, this is the index which is automatically rebuilt whenever a product in PIM is saved
  • Use default index for product selector search - Use default index for product selector search
  • Search field - select which index field is used in product selector search
  • Use extended search - search results include results containing the given search parameter - e.g. 'nam' returns 'Dynamic'

The Completeness section has one setting:

  • Don't apply uncompleted product to channel - is used to ensure that products that are not 100% complete for a channel cannot be published to that channel.
