Visual Editor
Working as an editor on Swift means you will be navigating the DynamicWeb 10 administration interface. This is where most day-to-day operations take place and also where you find the Visual Editor - the go-to tool for creating and organizing content in a visual manner.
The administration interface consists of:
- The area navigation (1) for selecting the part of DynamicWeb you want to work with - we will be working mainly in Content.
- The area tree (2) with different sections e.g. Navigation and Swift Setup.
- The workspace (3) where you create and edit content using the Visual Editor.
In the workspace Swift uses the Visual Editor mode that provides you with a visual representation of the content you are creating as you are working with it.
The Visual Editor highlights your page with rows in yellow and columns in green:
If you hover over an existing row or column, you have access to different editor tools, e.g. move, edit, copy, and delete:
The tools available may differ depending on your permission-level.
