The Group fields node is where you create and manage custom attributes for product groups.
To create a custom group attribute:
- Click New field
- Specify a name and a system name
- If relevant specify a templatetag for this field
- Select a field type
- Optionally provide a description - this description is shown alongside the field when editing group details
- Check validation required to make this field mandatory
Decimal-type fields also get an Options section for unit conversion, and List-type fields get an Options tab for defining list options - see Field settings for details on both.
Use Sort fields in the Actions menu to reorder the fields.
