Advanced configuration

The Advanced Configuration section of the Commerce settings contains a number of tools and settings typically used in marginal or advanced cases.

Set the system VAT rate and tweak VAT behaviour for e.g. fees

Tweak the behaviour of the Shopping Cart app in various ways

Configure discount behaviour related to how discounts stack, when they are applied relative to taxes, etc.

Override the default loyalty points expiration period and more

Override the default gift card expiration period, activate VAT for gift cards

Change how the system creates auto-IDs for various objects like orders, validation groups, etc.
