Export collections

An export collection is a predefined configuration of how a specific kind of data should be exported. It is typically used when exporting product data using the export tool.

To create an export collection:

  1. Navigate to Settings > System > Administration > Export collections and click +Add export collection
  2. Configure the collection:
    • Provide a name and optionally a description
    • Select a configure screen
    • Select a Headers mode
    • Assign this export collection to specific users or user groups

If no users or user groups are selected, only administrator accounts will be able to use this export collection.

Note

Export collections are created from configure screens, so make sure you've created a configure screen before attempting to create an export collection.
