Export templates

An export template is a predefined configuration of how a specific kind of data should be exported. It is typically used when exporting product data using the export tool, but can also be used to export orders and users.

To create an export template:

1. Navigate to Settings > System > Administration > Export templates and click +Add export template
2. Fill in the basic template details:
   • Name
   • Description (optional)
   • Header mode:
     • Label e.g. Number
     • System name e.g. ProductNumber
     • Custom - select a custom column header configuration
3. Save

Once you've saved the template, you can configure the rest:

1. Select the Model type name, this is the object you want to export using this template
2. Select which attributes to export - you can select any attribute available on the model
3. If you selected the header mode custom, customize the column headers
